THE TABLE

Hello lovely humans🤭

Today, we are discussing the table, that one you stay/live in. We will see how you deal with it, are you coping with your fellow occupants? Is there mutuality among your lot?

I know we are familiar with the popular slang on the social media then like the ‘table shakers’,’ I am on this table’, ‘shake table’, ‘table has broken’ (hahaha). Though they are stale and are still low-key in use, I want to briefly expatiate on ‘the table’ (ahem).



Now according to the wise ones (I will be randomly quoting them hehe), there are the occupants of the table. The occupants are those that live around the table, where is best befitting for them. There are few types but we are going to check out the four major occupants of the table.

The table shakers

These are the sacrificial lambs of the table. They are the first occupants and major contributors to the table. They bear the crosses of all the faults of the fellow occupants.

Surface dwellers

These are the neutral members of the table and move in the same motion as the table itself. They are the ‘it is what it is’ pips. They are technically just the chains of the anchor.

Under the table

These are otherwise known as the table observers and also watchdogs. They see all that is going on but they choose to watch and comment in silence. They also see when the termites have entered to eat the table and they keep shut about it until the table scatters and falls. The funny thing is they fall with the table and are hurt the most because they are under it.

Table perchers

They are known as the squatters and are rarely invited by the main occupants. Sometimes they are guests or from the Aproko industry (loool).

Table breakers

These are the catastrophe ambassadors and the ones who plant the termites in the table. They make sure the occupants are completely dispatched before moving to another table to occupy. Sometimes it is done white house-ishly.

To know where you belong, you have to make sure you get really comfortable in your spot. But if you cannot you can just leave or even break the table subtly lol.



P.S: You can as well even have spots in more than one table if it is cozy for you

An adventure called Friendship: What I have learnt

The Passion Translation Growing up, I was always indoors and it kinda made me a bit reserved and shy. It didn't help the fact that I am introverted and could not make friends quite easily. A  friend means different thing to different people, so I want to break down all the people I refer to as my friends into categories, permit me, I always fall into the trap of placing people into boxes.
