It Has Been A While

It is a little exciting that we are in the second quarter of the year, 2021. Although I was not consistent for a larger portion of the first quarter, I am back, not fully anyway. I mean, I have two days of exams left and then the result before I can finally return to my regular posting schedules. I have missed writing non-academic stuff, so I had to run here to put up something.

I would like to ask, how have you been?
A lot happened this first quarter for many people; there has been a breakthrough for some people doing the things they always wanted to do, many faced a lot of disappointment, some are still struggling to get things to start, and for others, they face the option of starting all over again. I believe I missed my category; the people waiting to see what would come out of all the investments (money, time, etc) they made in the first quarter and how to balance the new realities they are finding themselves in. 

Just as we face the uncertainty of the new quarter, I want to give the Peter’s Award to everyone trying their hardest, to those trying to push through, to those trying something new, to those starting over again, to those just about to give up. It is not always easy to walk on water, but for the fact you tried, I see you, and I am cheering you on wherever your path might lead. 

To those yet to start, here is another quarter to start out and to those already making waves. Keep going, I am also cheering you on.

I am trying and waiting patiently for these examinations to be over, so I can come back and share all the amazing things I have planned for you. Hope you had a beautiful Easter celebration and I wish you a wonderful second quarter.

An adventure called Friendship: What I have learnt

The Passion Translation Growing up, I was always indoors and it kinda made me a bit reserved and shy. It didn't help the fact that I am introverted and could not make friends quite easily. A  friend means different thing to different people, so I want to break down all the people I refer to as my friends into categories, permit me, I always fall into the trap of placing people into boxes. The people that I meet and relate to on a surface level due to a common ground or interest. The people I have around or those that see me around and all we share is one or two nice words and we have no common interest or nothing whatsoever. The people who know me and we talk to each other a lot, we share similar interest, ideals and just about anything.
